Bespoke Bojo Bags

My Mother, bless her, taught me to sew from a very early age.  Like my Gardens, and when making my creams, I get lost into my sewing! My sister and I, when we were teenagers, respectively, would buy fabric in Shaftesbury and make our dresses for a party that night!  We felt very proud of ourselves.

Having invested in a lovely sewing machine now that I am in the UK, all my spare time is sewing.

Not only am I doing sewing alterations and repairs, but also what I have named BOJO BAGS.  Under this umbrella includes useful, colourful reversible bags with many pockets.  The strap goes around your neck taking the weight off whatever you are carrying with the added bonus of looking very smart.

I also make fabric wallets, boxy bags in different sizes and many variations of the BOJO BAG.

There is a fabric used in South Africa that is pure cotton called Shweshwe. And another fabric from Zambia called Chitenge.  Very durable, colourful and different.  These are the fabrics I use plus a few fabrics that catch my eye here in the UK.

Every bag, wallet, purse, boxy bag are totally different, there will not be another like it in the world!

You can, of course choose your own fabric, should you wish. Or, indeed, choose the fabrics I have.

The BOJO BAGS beneath measurements are: Top-bottom: 30 ins/76 cms. Width bag part: 18 ins/46cms and Height from top of bag area to bottom: 13 ins/33cms.
