Client raised garden

My Client had back issues and wanted a garden that she could access easily.  We decided to build raised walls on an otherwise flat piece of rather uninteresting garden lawn with nothing in it. The foundations for the walls and the feature pond were dug and the bricking began. Against the long brick border wall we planted plum and apple trees for an espallier.  These can't be seen in the photo as they had not achieved great growth by the time these photos were taken. Once the raised beds were completed, a vermicompost and vermipotting soil went in, tons of it!  I love using Worm compost and potting soil as the growing results are phenomenal. At the behest of my Client, Herbs, Shrubs, Fruit trees and vegetables were planted.

There was nothing here prior to starting. The centre raised pond is a water feature
This garden took a lot of brick work, all beds are raised, took a massive amount of compost!
